Panificio il Basilico is a bakery working with Italian-Hungarian ingredients, technologies and flavors in Városmajor Street, just a few minutes away from the Déli Railway Station. The bakery is led by Szabolcs, who worked in Italy and Austria before, and who treats this place as if it was a religion. The lineup is strong both on the salty and the sweet fronts; from the brie cheese-orange jam-rosemary roll to the famous double cocoa roll. We can wash down the baked goods with Lucaffé and even buy some Italian deli goods, from delicious pastas to cured ham.
