The country’s largest bookstore for children awaits little and big readers with vast amounts of children’s literature and toys on Bartók Béla Street. To facilitate the shopping process, the store organizes its books by recommended age, but we can always ask for the salesclerks’ help, as well. The children can turn over the pages of the books while sitting in comfortable armchairs, or occupy themselves with a sand table and toy kitchen. There are some regular events in Pagony, as well, including handicraft workshops, writer-reader meetings and slideshows.
They regularly have various programs at the bookstore: crafts workshops, writer-reader panels, and slideshows. And what can even top this cake, is that they also have a café section, with barako-brews, Méhes Mézes drinks, Ipoly-Völgyi natural juices. And since we mentioned cake: they also have tarts and cupcakes in their selection.
