It is no exaggeration to say that Római Part is the most idyllic place of Budapest in the summer. Nap bácsi set the bar pretty high as well, with its family-friendly attitude, great kitchen and waterside community space. Rizmajer’s cherry beer and the Scottish Brew Dog IPA feels the best when drunk on the wooden sun loungers, but the place offers some great alcohol-free drinks as well, including the apple-beetroot juice and the rosehip-apple lemonade. In summer, a chilly gazpacho (cold, spicy tomato soup) always comes in handy, and a good Hermelín (Czech pickled camembert) goes well with the beer, as well. If we would prefer a more substantial meal, we can eat a chicken quesadilla or gray cattle wrap.
