Mókusch, found at Buda transport hub Széll Kálmán tér, is a café, breakfast place and deli in one. With its Germanic name, cool design and DIY solutions, it would suit Berlin, but it rather offers flat whites, pretzels and sandwiches in Budapest’s District I. A Bavarian-German-Transylvanian touch sneaks into the cuisine, but you also find Magyar kóla on the menu besides delicious German drinks. Try one of their cakes, made according to Krisztina’s own recipes, as delicious as they look.
