Mansfeld Péter Park is a nice little nook in District II of Budapest, up on Rózsadomb, pretty close to Gül Baba’s türbe. Named after the youngest martyr of the punishments following the Hungarian Revolution of 1956, the park’s strongest point is its view. The sight of Chain Bridge, the Parliament and the Danube Promenade welcomes those who are willing to take the up-hill walk that leads to the park. Going there with a picnic basket, a child, or a pet is a great idea, just like paying a visit accompanied by a glass of wine and our significant other.
