When Gerbeaud’s former head confectioner, Zoltán Kolonics and his wife, Ágnes Varga opened their own place, instead of a simple confectionery, they wanted a French-style pastry shop. They sell sweet and savoury biscuits (anise meringues, lemon, cheddar cheese and triple-chocolate sables), fruitcakes, truffles and macarons. Zoltán also creates special, sugary works of art by renewing Hungarian classics with innovative ideas. Beside these endorphin bombs, you can also visit them for ice cream.
