This homely kitchen can be found in Óbuda, District III. Lacikonyha is a real journey back in time, as the lady of the kitchen has been creating classic, traditional meals such as fried liver, chicken drumsticks, blood sausage and all kinds of roasts for around 40 years. The menu is not too long, while still offering everything visitors might be looking for – although you can also opt for what could be termed the kitchen speciality, called rabló (‘robber’), a type of juicy, meaty stew. We recommend ordering the classic sides of bread and pickles to go with the traditional flavours.
