One of the best sushi bars in Budapest with the widest à la carte selection is La-Guna Sushi on Üllői út. Despite its out-of-centre location, it’s worth the trek thanks to its fresh, creative dishes, soups, pastas, and Japanese and Thai courses – yet they’re best at making sushi. Besides the sets, you can also create your own selection of makis, nigiris, inaris, and sashimis. As for the soups, suki yaki is a big favourite.
