Krak’n Town, opened in 2316, (it’s not a typo!) is not only Budapest’s first and only “steampunk salon”, but also the center of craft beer, classic English cuisine, and resistance. The interior looks like it could have been designed by Jules Verne; there are gearwheels, pilot goggles, copper sections, and Victorian motifs everywhere; hot-air-balloons hang from the ceiling, and antiquated pictures of the staff decorate the walls. An ever-changing selection of eight craft-beer manufactures are on tap, while the menu features meals that would truly please an Englishman, Scottish eggs with mash, black pudding, steak, different meat pies, and mouthwatering sandwiches. It is worthwhile to venture in the cave of the mechanic kraken.
