According to the owner of Kiskovász Bakery, Péter Sábli, the secret to excellent bread is flour, salt, water and mature yeast. His pastries are made according to ancient recipes in the wood-fired oven of a farmhouse in Vas County, and brought here to Nagymező utca, where the palatable products made of clean, additive-free, and high-quality flour even appeal to those with a gluten intolerance. Breads are made of white-, whole-wheat, potato-, rye-, wheat-, and spelt flour here, and there's even a two-kilogramme loaf. Classic pastries include croissants, cocoa- and cinnamon rolls, pretzels and Peti's own Petipesto. The dairy produce is delicious, and you can also purchase ingredients to make your own delicious dishes at home from the excellent flours and puff pastry.
