The Kino Café Cinema near the Vígszínház has been called Elite, Tanács Cinema and Szindbád from 1910 onwards. It gained its current name in 2014. The cinema comprises two screening rooms, accommodating 90 and 37 spectators respectively. It organises various events, film clubs and the Night of Indie Cinemas, while also showing the latest Hungarian and international arthouse films. You can take in a tasty grilled sandwich from the Kino Café. The cheesecake is also delicious, and they offer light dishes and snacks all day long. Inside is laid-back and friendly, the terrace a pleasant spot to observe the constant blur of the Grand Boulevard.
