KicsiZso beckons a three-minute walk from the Buda waterfront of Margaret Bridge with Hungarian flavours and dishes sourced straight from local producers. It’s a great place to start the day or delve into the tasty lunch menu. They have egg-based meals beyond scrambled eggs, such as croque monsieur and madame, but they also rethought what a sandwich means: shrimp, avocado and egg-filled bagels, alternatively French toast, focaccia and filled croissants. You can pair these with a dark roast Bagira coffee or a cordial, and don’t forget about the pestos and jams either. The -Zso in the name refers to Zsolt Horváth, the founder-owner, who added a mini-outlet to his breakfast spot and café during the autumn of 2017.
