Adding a new splash of colour to the ice-cream palette of Buda, Kell fagylalt? on Maros utca, just behind Déli station, is working with the recipes of another popular ice-cream venue, sister operation Kő fagyi?. They offer classic flavours from poppy to walnut and peach, but a couple of rather extravagant options, such as pumpkin seed- and Amarena cherry-flavoured ice creams are also available. There’s a terrace, as well as a small ice-cream van outside the shop, offering a narrower selection of flavours. This echoes the village atmosphere of Mindszentkálla at Lake Balaton, where these treats originate. Thanks to them, we can now enjoy a small taste of Hungarian summers in the urban environment of Budapest.
