The Jamie Oliver franchise made its first steps into Hungary when it opened Jamie’s Italian in the Castle District. Soon after came this pizza place in the Gozsdu Udvar, the first such venture in a chain to come, and the model for expansion around the world. The menu at Jamie’s Pizzeria is simple: pizzas take centre stage, but besides the 11, hand-tossed varieties, the list also features bruschettas, rich salads, such as lentil and black rice with pomegranate, and oven-baked pastas. The selection also includes Hungarian ciders, wines from Etyeki Kúria, the Konyári, and Pálffy cellars, and beers from local breweries such as Monyo and Hedon. If you prefer eating at home, they deliver, as well.
