Gelateria Pomo D'oro, an authentic Italian ice cream parlor and confectionery is located in one of Budapest’s best-known streets, Arany János Street, near Szabadság Square. In the confectionary, belonging to Gastronomia Pomo D’oro, light cakes and creamy ice creams are made under the personal guidance of the renowned Italian confectioner, Davide, only from high quality ingredients. In the shop, we can taste the Berriolette, made with the raspberry-blueberry-violet trio; the rice ice cream with cinnamon and chocolate, Giotto, which cools us down with crunchy almonds and coconut in the heat; or the salty Gorgonzola ice cream with caramelized pear, which we recommend to the bravest only. Naturally, we can find all classic Italian sweets on their palette, such as the beignet, cannolo, tiramisu, panna cotta or profiterole.
