Gelarto Rosa bewitches customers with Italian-style rose-shaped scoops of gelato made of organic ingredients. Find them in two locations, both close to St Stephen's Basilica. The new shop on Hercegprímás street, which opened in 2022, awaits with a generous selection, while the ice cream parlour on Szent István Square is about to get a face-lift.
The 'special roses' come in plenty of variations: vegans can enjoy sorbets, and lovers of milk and cream-based gelato are spoiled with options too. Experimentation never stops in the kitchen, so it's worth stopping by from time to time to see what's new. Also, Gelarto Rosa welcomes volunteer testers too. And on another happy note: ice cream is not a seasonal treat here, and you can enjoy colourful scoops in the winter too. But it is also worth popping in just for an Italian espresso.
