A tiny bit of Poland. Gdansk Bookshop and Café, hidden in Bartók Béla Street, might be a small place, but awaits lovers of Polish culture and cuisine with great enthusiasm. Marzena, who is Polish herself, and his husband achieved an old dream by opening this little culture corner, where they welcome their culture and food-loving guests with new and used Polish books, magazines, literary and art publications, and Polish food and drink specialties. Our favourite is the Polish marinated herring, but you will not be disappointed if you would prefer vodka or beer either.
