Located on Andrássy út, this museum is a reconstruction of Liszt's last Budapest flat on the first floor of the original Academy of Music, where the iconic composer lived between 1881 and 1886. The collection contains his original instruments, furniture, books, scores and personal objects and memorabilia, such as his composing table, made personally for Liszt by Austrian piano manufacturer Bösendorfer. The Liszt Research Centre in the house coordinates all such activities in Hungary. The museum can arrange guided group tours by appointment in several languages, while audioguides are available in 15 languages.
