Károly Nagy is a family doctor by day and a diligent baker by night. Putting his love for homely pastries ahead of getting enough rest, his products continue to garner awards at Hungarian bread and pastry festivals. In his bakery on Csengery utca, the shelves are packed with croissants, breads, baguettes, bagels and other goodies all prepared beneath the shop, so they stay warm and crispy for hungry visitors. According to Károly, bakery is a kind of art, a statement which is confirmed by the products in the shop.
