The Császár-Komjádi Sports Swimming Centre is located on the Buda-side of the Danube, not far from Margaret Bridge. The venue opened in 1976 and it was named after Béla Komjádi, the Hungarian water polo coach whose team won gold at the 1932 Olympics. The swimming pool is open to hobby athletes as well, who can also sunbathe and relax in the outdoor areas. Its peculiarity is the mobile roof. The facility often hosts Hungarian and international swimming competitions and water polo matches; it is the home venue of the multiple Hungarian champion and cup winner water polo team, Vasas.
