It has only been a few years since the owner of Chez Dodo, Dóri Szalai tasted a macaron for the first time, and then decided to make it at home. After the initial failed attempt at making the tricky dessert, she attended a specialized course and even then went to Paris in order to perfect her skills. As she experimented more with the popular dessert, her fan base kept growing and inspired her to open her own store in Sas Street. In Chez Dodo, the selection of macarons changes on a daily basis, but a few basic pieces are always available. We especially recommend the salty caramel flavored Jean-Pierre, the cognac-raisin flavored Henry and the pistachio flavored Philippe. In addition to the macarons, we can also drink high quality coffee in Chez Dodo.
