Seizing the day is always easier with some excellent wine. This could be the motto of Carpe Diem Wine Bar, which is completely dedicated to ”fine wining”. Near Szabadság Square, in downtown Budapest, Carpe Diem offers rare and exclusive wines from Hungary and abroad that are hard to find anywhere else. Premium German Riesling, an Italian and French wine selection, and renowned Champagne-houses with limited edition wines and champagne. It’s a small and friendly space where you get professional sommelier advice, and, of course, tapas platters with ham and cheese to go with the drinks. No wonder that in 2018 the place won the “Best Wine Bar” award of the VinCE Budapest Wine Show and Best of Budapest/Hungary.
