Budapest Baristas pairs up two great things: perfect location and specialty coffee. The shop on Small Boulevard used to be an aquarium, and has a perfect view on the buzzing campus-life of ELTE; but more importantly, besides cappuccino, Americano, and other classic caffeinated drinks, you can get specialties here like matcha, the Japanese green tea mixed with milk, or the citrusy cascara, made from the skin of coffee fruit. Their snack selection is similar to other new-wave cafés’ with homemade cakes, but they also have chai and tapioca puddings.
