The long-established Átrium near Margaret Bridge received a complete blood transfusion, which resulted in a revamped interior and reivented concept.The former Május 1. Cinema is now the scene of international cooperations that blend different branches of the performing arts (e.g. theatre, film, dance, and music), thereby creating unique productions. The harmonic blend of the elements of film, modern visual culture, contemporary dance and theatre (the latter also in English) constitute the foot stone of the Átrium image, but the events here often include classical and light music concerts, parties and weekend kids' programmes. The Átrium makes good use of its pleasant, spacious foyer, too. In addition to the ticket office, you will find a café here.
