Having first set up in Buda, the Alaplé juice bar has opened another outlet on the Pest side, so now you can get a delicious and healthy hot soup stocks in Nagymező utca as well. The concept remains the same: choose from two bases, chicken and beef, then add six different flavours of your choice. And there are special versions such as the kalapos, a great choice for those who are lactose-sensitive, as its ingredients include a base soup of your choice, shiitake mushrooms, lactose-free sour cream and parsley. And if you want a really exciting combination as a wake up drink, then opt for the Ébredős a nyerő with macha tea, algae, celery, parsley, lime and chili. Of course, the bases are also available on their own without flavours, if you want to take some home for cooking. See here for our round-up of great soup spots in town.
At the Mystery Hotel Budapest, you can not only check into suites resembling a painter's studio or having the Mona Lisa hung above the bed, but feast, clink your glasses, and even unwind in a unique spa.
