A Séf utcája (The Chef’s Street) is housed in the Downtown Market’s store number 3 in the Gallery section. A 25-year friendship, thousands of meals shared and a good deal of traveling inspired the owner and Lajos Bíró to open this outrageously good place. The result of A Séf utcája is a traditional deli and butcher shop in an authentic environment, where the black pudding is twisted inside out, and the chicken soup comes in a jar. The deli is open from early morning until late at night, awaiting market-goer gourmets who want to try Hungarian street food.
