The Farm Shop sells their dairy products from hay milk, award-winning cheeses, jams, smoked meats, and more. PICK Trail: Börzsöny, Márianosztra – Nagyirtáspuszta

The PICK Bordó trail initiative launched in 2024, aiming to connect hiking with flavours and community experiences, as PICK prioritises supporting communities and promoting conscious living alongside quality. This spring, the selection expanded with 3 new routes. The PICK Bordó trail in Börzsöny is approximately 1 hour from Budapest via the M2 and Route 12. This 14 km hike covers the most beautiful viewpoints in southern Börzsöny. The moderate difficulty trail (with a 600-metre elevation gain) can be completed in 4-5 hours and includes stunning locations like Nagy-Galla, Nagy-Sas-hegy, and Péter hegyese, offering magnificent panoramic views. The circular route starts and ends in Márianosztra, where several attractions await. Don't forget to pack PICK salami sandwiches, best enjoyed at Sós Hill or around Nagyirtáspuszta, though numerous scenic spots are perfect for spreading out picnic blankets.
