Expect jaw-dropping panoramas, delicious bites and memorable moments – here are three places where you can sit back, relax and enjoy the best of the city, with a great drink in hand, from the water, beside it or high above it all.
White Raven Skybar & Lounge

Perched on the rooftop of the Hilton Budapest, right next to the iconic Matthias Church in the Castle District, the White Raven Skybar & Lounge offers a view like no other. From up here, you can take in the stunning cityscape of Pest, the green oasis of Margaret Island and the many beautiful bridges stretching across the Danube. It’s the highest rooftop bar in the city, so the panorama is truly next level. But it’s not just about the view – the stylish design, the laid-back atmosphere and the creative food and drink options make this place really special. This summer, they're rolling out new signature cocktails, an expanded champagne selection, more live DJ sets and a refreshed seasonal menu. Their cocktail menu is especially fun, inspired by iconic hits from different decades. Try the Back to Black, a bold, dark-hued drink full of character, or the Like a Virgin mocktail, with hints of sage and a breezy, Italian flair that’ll transport you straight to Venice.

Spoon The Boat

If you’re craving a truly waterside experience, head to Spoon The Boat on the Danube. Here, Budapest's unparalleled beauty surrounds you in every direction – with a side of amazing food and drinks. If you’re after something truly special to do, you can pick one of their two exciting adventures: on weekends, families can enjoy a delicious lunch on board followed by a complimentary city sightseeing cruise departing right from the boat’s own dock. For those looking for something a bit more adventurous, the Rum Adventure is a must, where you’ll taste five unique Caribbean rums while hearing the fascinating stories behind each one. The tasting takes place on the boat, and includes a cruise experience as well, setting sail on Saturdays and Sundays at 2:35 pm or 3:50 pm. Spoon The Boat is where flavours, the river and the city all come together – the kind of place that makes you fall in love with Budapest all over again.

Port de Budapest

Nestled along Belgrád Rakpart with mesmerising views of the Liberty and Elizabeth bridges and Gellért Hill, Port de Budapest is all about chill vibes, sunny terraces and scenic views. By day, sip a coffee or mocktail while you watch the boats lazily drift by. By night, stunning sunsets followed by twinkling city lights take centre stage. The menu is thoughtfully curated to pair perfectly with those sultry summer nights and refreshing drinks. And when it comes to drinks, you’re in for a treat: you can always ask for your favourite classic cocktail, but don't miss out on their signatures – like the fruity, easy-going Port Star Martini, or the gin-based Lisa and pomegranate-flavoured Liberty, both named after nearby bridges. They will soon start hosting lovely morning yoga sessions as well, so keep an eye on their social media sights for more details.
