Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis

Since they first played on-screen sweethearts on That ’70s Show, actors Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher always looked good together – especially since they became a couple in real life a few years ago. Back in the summer, the A-list pair moved to Budapest for a few months, while Kunis was filming a comedy titled The Spy Who Dumped Me. While she was on duty, Kutcher had plenty of time to explore the Hungarian capital, and was spotted doing grocery shopping in the Spar at the Mammut Shopping Center and lounging at downtown café mokush. The couple also went to the Sziget Festival together to see Whiz Khalifa, and enjoyed a match at the 2017 FINA World Championships with their kids. However, the celebrity couple didn’t appreciate it when numerous online newspapers published photos of them with their children, and Kutcher called out in a tweet saying: “l continue to kindly ask, Please don’t post/publish photos of our kids. They haven’t chosen life in the public eye”. Fair play, really.

A post shared by Alessandra Garcia Lorido (@alessandragl) on Jun 7, 2017 at 8:12am PDT American actress Dakota Fanning rose to prominence at age seven for her performance as Lucy Dawson in the drama film I am Sam. Fanning was filming a TV series in Budapest, The Alienist, based on the book by Caleb Carr, alongside Daniel Brühl and Luke Evans back in the spring. However, afterwards in the summer, the actress apparently brought her friends along for a private trip around the Hungarian capital, and the girls posted photos of them sightseeing on Elizabeth Bridge and

Este rapaz quis conhecer os seus ídolos. Quando o futebol ganha uma dimensão maior. ?? : This young boy wanted to meet his idols. When football goes beyond the magic on the pitch. #TeamPortugal
A post shared by Portugal (@portugal) on Sep 2, 2017 at 10:50am PDT Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, recently crowned Golden Ball winner for the fifth time, was in Budapest in September for a World Cup qualifier. Portugal played Hungary at the Groupama Aréna, beating  them 1-0 thanks to a solitary goal by André Silva in the 48th minute. However, just before the match, Ronaldo melted millions of hearts with a photograph posted of him with a little boy in a wheelchair. The caption reads: This young boy wanted to meet his idols. When football goes beyond the magic on the pitch”.

A post shared by Jamie Foxx (@iamjamiefoxx) on Jan 17, 2017 at 4:42am PST Whenever he's asked about it in interviews, Jamie Foxx says he loves Budapest, and apparently he did have heaps of fun here when he spent almost four months in the Hungarian capital filming Robin Hood. When off duty, he enjoyed the snow, grabbed the microphone at a party and started to sing, explored Hungarian gastronomy by tasting goulash and pálinka brandy, and even broadcasted live as a man climbed atop a towering building on Deák Ferenc Square, threatening to jump off if anyone attempted to enter his flat.

Jennifer Lawrence

Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence was spotted all around Budapest earlier this year when she was here in Hungary filming Red Sparrow, and she even got into a bar fight. Apparently when not on duty, the Hunger Games heroine enjoyed diving into the city’s sizzling nightlife, as Lawrence was seen at the most popular dive bar in Budapest, Klub Vittula, casually ordering a beer and dancing. During an appearance on “Late Night with Seth Meyer”, Jennifer Lawrence shared her memories of her drunken encounter with a pushy fan at a Budapest bar. “I was drunk and this guy asked me for a selfie, and I was, like, ‘no, thank you, no.’” Afterwards however, unfortunately the eager fan became rude, causing Lawrence to strike back. In this clip, she explains what happened – forward it to 3:40.

Macklemore (Benjamin Hammond Haggerty) and Ryan Lewis visited Budapest back in the summer, when they performed at the Sziget Festival. The concert was utterly amazing, keeping the lively crowd on their toes. Afterwards. however, the rapper shared Instagram stories about him being pushed around in a bed at a Hungarian hospital. According to the Chief Press Officer of Sziget, Viktória Vető, Haggerty was hospitalized because of suspected kidney stones, but apparently he was released soon afterwards. It is not entirely clear what happened to Macklemore, but one thing is for sure, even if he was in any pain during the show, he kept going like a real trooper.

Pink

On the first day of one of Europe’s biggest music festivals, Sziget, Pink got the party started with her timeless hit and then gave an incredibly amazing show, charming the audience with her greatest hits, an acoustic section, brand new songs and even hanging from the air at one point. Alicia Beth Moore is an all-time favorite of many, and she seemed to have enjoyed Sziget Festival, too. She traveled to Budapest a day earlier to get ready for the concert and

A post shared by Ayda Field Williams (@aydafieldwilliams) on Aug 20, 2017 at 12:39pm PDT On August 20th, teeming crowds flooded the streets of Hungary’s capital as the country celebrated its biggest national holiday, St. Stephen’s Day. After the sun sank behind the Buda Hills, splendid fireworks illuminated the starry skies and all eyes turned skywards. One of the spectators of this splendid show was Robbie Williams, who shared an intimate moment with his family enjoying the sparkling lights with his two kids and wife of seven years, Ayda Field, who shot and shared a heartwarming video of the sweet scene on her Instagram page. The family enjoyed the special show from the balcony of their hotel room at Budapest’s Gresham Palace, and seemed to have a truly special time together here. The next day, Williams gave a great show at the Papp László Sportaréna as part of his European tour, while Ayda

enjoyed an ice-cream at Gelarto Rosa.
