Hilton Garden Inn Budapest City Centre
Joining the panoramic Hilton Budapest in Buda’s historic Castle District and the centrally located Hilton Budapest City, a 214-room hotel of the Hilton brand will soon be added to the map of accommodations in the Hungarian capital. Built just a short walk away from major downtown landmarks, guests staying at the top floor of the nine-story hotel will enjoy panoramic views over the adjacent Hungarian State Opera and the St. Stephen’s Basilica. The hotel, scheduled to open in 2018, will be complete with a restaurant and a bar, three meeting rooms, a business center, and the Hilton Garden Inn Pavilion Pantry, a round-the-clock delicacy shop.

Hotel Clark
Hungarian media reports that one of Buda’s most prominent properties – which stood empty for decades on panoramic Clark Ádám Square – will be home to a new deluxe hotel by the end of 2017. Even though not many details are released about the investment yet, the building will possibly feature deeply set windows, while the interior will be enhanced with modern design elements and a restaurant is planned on the ground level that would also serve the general public. While the final plans and details of the project are yet to be confirmed, with its proximity to Budapest’s Chain Bridge and the Castle Hill Funicular, the deluxe accommodations could very well become one of the city’s most spectacular hotels.

Ibis Styles Budapest Airport Hotel
Construction works have already started at Hungary’s primary air-traffic hub to make it complete with its own airport hotel, a project that's set to be accomplished within the next two years in a joint cooperation with the Ibis brand. Connected to the terminal by covered corridors, the modern 145-room property will be built with an avant-garde style that resembles a jumbo jet. While putting an emphasis on design, comfort, and creativity, the five-story building will also house multiple conference rooms to provide high-tech facilities for business travelers. According to plans, the 5,200-square-meter property will feature a restaurant and a lobby bar that will also welcome guests who are not staying at the hotel.

InterCity Hotel Budapest
In 2019, German hotel company Deutsche Hospitality plans to launch its first hotel in Hungary near Keleti Railway Station, one of the city’s major transportation hubs that serves international train lines. Offering 300 rooms, a restaurant and bar, six conference halls, and a spacious underground car park, InterCity Hotel will cater to both leisure and business travelers, according to the website of Deutsche Hospitality. Italian architect Matteo Thun is in charge of the hotel’s interior design, with a style that will be seen in the next generations of the InterCity brand.

W Budapest Hotel
After standing abandoned for over a decade on Budapest’s prominent Andrássy Avenue, the city’s historic Drechsler Palace will be transformed into a stylish new hotel under the portfolio of W Hotels Worldwide. Designed by renowned Hungarian architects Ödön Lechner and Gyula Pártos in a French Renaissance style, the stately building will house 162 guest rooms and suites, along with a restaurant and bar, a spa, a pool, and three meeting and event spaces. After the renovation and refurbishment works are completed, the remarkable building is set to start welcoming guests in 2020.
