The Japanese Garden in Zugló is the first of its kind in Hungary, designed as an archaic flatland tea garden inspired by the Muromachi period. Located next to the Márton Varga Horticultural and Land Surveying Technical School, the garden is especially beautiful in spring, during cherry blossom season. On 18 April, the Zugló Japanese Garden Day takes place, featuring guided tours, garden walks, a book presentation, and martial arts demonstrations.
