Between 4-6 October, Budapest Zoo is organising a festival that focuses on the importance of wildlife and celebrates the relationship between humans and animals. There will be playful environmental activities, fables and performances, arts and crafts workshops using recycled materials, music shows and even an imitation of tropical thunder in the Palm House.
At the same time, the Holnemvolt (‘Once Upon a Time’) Castle at the zoo is hosting a harvest festival, presenting domestic animals and rural life during autumn in Hungary. Theatrical shows and dancing also await.
