Mark Wilkinson
, the start performer of the night, launched his career in 2010 at Hospital Records and Ram Records. He soon outgrew his bedroom studio, after the legendary Andy C took him under his wings and helped him release his bedut single Moonwalker. The audience was quickly enthused by his singalong hits, some of which are pleasantly melodic and you can’t get them out of your head and others can explode on the dance floor at just the right moment. A few years and a couple of singles later, he snatched up the award for Best Breakthrough Producer at the British Drum And Bass Awards in 2012 for the hits Tonight and Need To Know. His first album Lazers Not Included came out in 2013, featuring Half Light, which entered the British charts at no. 25, and Afterglow, which become one of the top 5 UK dance hits with 20 million YouTube views and 300,000 records sold.

His debut album went silver this year with more than 600,000 downloads. Wilkinson is currently touring with a band, primarily in the UK, and almost all of his gigs are packed. Hopefully, this show will be just as phrenetic as his last one in Budapest that took place in May. Chances are high that this gig will also be explosive, with several of Wilkinson’s other tracks being torpedoed to hit status – most of them are also regularly played by Petőfi Rádió.
