A concert by the Budapest Festival Orchestra on 15 January will feature legendary English and Russian musicians of the 20th century, Vaughan Williams and Igor Stravinsky, along with the strikingly talented German composer, conductor and clarinetist Jörg Widmann. Violinist Christian Tetzlaff will take the stage as a solo artist, whose passionate performances have impressed the critics at London-based magazine Bachtrack, too. Conductor for the evening will be Robin Ticciati, a former student of Sir Colin Davis and Sir Simon Rattle.
