An
international urban dance festival
that has been organized in
Budapest
since 2009. Apart from Hungarian dancers, participants from abroad (
Austria, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Romania, Serbia, Croatia
) will also attend the event where seasoned and internationally acclaimed dancers will sit on the jury, and hold lectures and workshops, to make the festival as authentic as possible. The battle will take place at
Bakelit Multi Art Center
, a complex that has all the necessary infrastructure – event halls of various sizes, sound and lighting equipment, catering facilities and accommodation – to make the event a great success. Unlike in previous years, the Saturday dance-off will run at two separate locations at the same time, so that both top and break dancers can dance their hearts out.
