UH Fest
is one of those rare events in Hungary that is controlled by the spirit of adventure: it is a meeting point of musicians looking for new ways and expressions and an audience looking for discoveries and surprises. Since 2001, six festivals were held, each featuring 400 performers of 40 countries.
In the case of the festivals, as well as the concerts, the organizers put special emphasis on introducing unconventional approaches and
unique, national venues
, which are often ignored by the local media and organizers of ordinary festivals.
Their principle is to cross the boundaries of genres when compiling the programs: to put performers of
different styles and tones
next to each other.
