The annual Ugly Christmas Jumper race takes place this year in City Park, as opposed to its usual venue on Margaret Island. Even if you don't feel like taking part, you can still watch joggers running in their tasteless sweaters and donate foodstuffs to charity – particularly durable edibles such as jams, biscuits, rice and sugar. Runners will be setting off from the city side of the park, near the underground garage, before heading round the 2km jogging course.
