Viktor Navorski, a traveller from a fictional post-Soviet country called Krakozhia, arrives at New York's JFK Airport only to find that his passport is suddenly no longer valid, due to the outbreak of a sovereignty war in his home. Viktor is not permitted to either enter the country nor return home as he is now considered stateless. With no other choice, he settles in at the terminal with his luggage and a mysterious peanut can. Tom Hanks plays the lead.
