Andy Dufresne, a banker, is sentenced to life imprisonment in 1946 for a double murder, even though he claims that he’s innocent. Following his sentence, he soon has to learn about the cruelty of life in the prison: including the sadistic staff and the almost beastly prisoners.
The movie will be screened in English with Hungarian subtitles.
