Smash hit Disney feature The Lion King first hit the screens in 1994 which, believe it or not, was 25 years ago. Here shown in its original English, it tells the story of Simba, a young lion who is to succeed his father, Mufasa, as King of the Pride Lands. After Mufasa’s murder, Simba is manipulated into thinking he was responsible and flees into exile. After growing up in the company of the carefree outcasts, Simba returns to challenge Scar to end his tyranny and take his place as the rightful king.
