A gate opens between two dimensions every five thousand years. One of them has the universe and all living creatures. The other contains Evil, whose sole purpose is to destroy Life. Thus, every five thousand years, the universe needs a hero. In the dangerous and weird universe of the 23rd century, this hero is Korben Dallas (Bruce Willis).
