In the past few years,
Róza El-Hassan
researched
archaic Syrian architecture
, and opened a new chapter in her committed human rights activism by connecting the many years of authentic Arab architectural traditions with a proposed solution for recovering from the humanitarian crisis caused by the war in Syria, and for rebuilding major cities that got destroyed to the ground in her works.
The drawings, sketches, sculptures and installations showcased in this exhibition present the main directions of
El-Hassan
’s many years of research.
