What did the American Dream mean to generations of Hungarians who crossed the Atlantic? Marking the 250th anniversary of the US Declaration of Independence, this exhibition at the Hungarian National Museum traces more than two and a half centuries of Hungarian-American connections. Through stories of migration, freedom, ambition and new beginnings, it explores how Hungarian emigrants built new lives in the United States – and the mark they left on their adopted home. The exhibition runs until 1 November.
