The exhibition Suspended Time is an attempt to present different worlds with varied yet common denominators through contemporary photography and painting. The three artists, Hungarian Árpád Forgó and Germans Dagmar Keller and Martin Wittwer, met in 2018 at the residence programme at the Swatch Art Peace Hotel in Shanghai. This will be their first joint exhibition, at Hybridart Space in downtown Budapest. The German couple have been working together since 1997. Their art is mostly characterised by multilayers. In their works, they dissect the possible ways of perceiving and depicting reality, and connections with reality. Árpád Forgó is interested in experimental painting. The basic elements of his work are proportion, shape and colour, underscored by numbers.
