Inspired by the Strugatsky-brothers, this fantasy movie takes place in the mysterious Zone, an area on the periphery of a desolate industrial city. Stalker, the only one who knows the way, leads a writer and a professor to this place. The movie brings up such issues as the threat of the atomic age, question of faith and love, of escapism in a visually suggestive way.
The movie will be screen in Russian with English subtitles.
