US jazz singer Stacey Kent has performed in more than 50 countries, notched up several Grammy nominations and sold millions of albums. Most of her songs were composed by her saxophonist husband, Jim Tomlinson, the lyrics composed with English, French and Portuguese writers, even Nobel Prize-winner Kazuo Ishiguro. A bonus edition of her album Songs from Other Places has just been released.
