On 3 October, the Solymár Garage Sale Festival takes place for the first time, with locals opening up their gardens and garages for the day to sell items they no longer need. Browse everything from children’s clothes, toys and books to furniture, gardening tools, kitchenware, sports equipment and retro finds. More than 80 locations are taking part, all marked on a shared map, so you can easily turn your treasure hunt into a walk around the area or combine it with a visit to the ruins of Solymár Castle.
