Organised by Placcc Festival and Valyo, a series of sauna programmes will take over the Danube bank at Bert sétány between 18 and 22 February. Alongside classic sauna sessions, the programme features talks, performative elements and artistic interventions. During Sauna Talks evenings, invited experts will explore the relationship between the city and the river, swimmable cities, and the role of ecology, art and water. Cold Comfort focuses on the contrast between sauna heat and cold-water immersion, while Szauna Troll brings poetry into the steamy setting through a live reading session. The sauna can also be visited independently each day, with the option of an open-air dip in the Danube.
