Samhain is the last day in the Celtic calendar, marking the end of summer. The Celts believed that on 31 October, our world collides with the spiritual realm, awakening the dead and gathering supernatural beings. The Aquincum Museum will be hosting a Celtic-themed Halloween with a ghostly folk celebration.

  • 6.30pm-9pm: Celtic fortune telling with ogham stones

  • 7.30pm: Fire duel

  • 8pm-8.30pm: Fire ritual and sacrifice

  • 8.30pm-10pm: Dance house and fire jumping
