The stage name of
Rowan Tyler Jones
was inspired by the American Route 94, the thoroughfare linking Chicago, the capital of
house
, and Detorit, the mecca of
techno
. His career started on the
dubstep
scene in the London glory days with Skream and Benga, but his real breakthrough came thanks to a pop/house track. Recorded with Grammy Award-winning Jess Glynne, "My Love" climbed to the top of the charts in 27 countries, while the music video shot for the song currently has 80 million views. Since then Route 94 has been a regular guest at the coolest festivals and the club nights of Jamie Jones and Skream all over the world. On April 10,
Ötkert
will host his first Hungarian gig.
